But with these delicious chickpea tortilla chips, you’ll nourish your body and your soul and you’ll also eat less but still feel full and satisfied for longer. The high levels of food satiety that these chickpea chips provide come from their high content in both protein and fiber, and you’ll only need to eat a few to feel completely satisfied. Chickpea Tortilla Chips Recipe
Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 10-12 min | Yields: 25-30 chips
Ingredients
+ 1 cup chickpea flour
+ 1/2 tsp sea salt
+ 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
+ 1/4 tsp baking powder
+ 1 tbsp olive oil
+ 3 tbsp warm water
+ dried oregano to taste
+ smoked paprika to taste
+ 1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C. Mix the chickpea flour, salt, cayenne pepper and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add the olive oil and mix with your hands until the dough is crumbly. Add the warm water 1 tbsp at a time and keep mixing with your hands until the dough comes together. Place the dough on a lightly floured baking paper, flatten into a disc, lightly flour the top of the dough and place another baking paper on top. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough as thin as possible. Remove the top layer of baking paper and cut the dough into triangles. Season all the chips or only half with dried oregano and smoked paprika, place in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden. Serve as a snack with our avocado cream or on a nacho plate. Once completely cool transfer to an airtight container and keep for up to two weeks. Enjoy!
